The Region of Waterloo Water is responsible for supplying clean, safe drinking water to the cities of Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo and the townships of North Dumfries, Wellesley, Wilmot and Woolwich. Water pumped from underground and the Grand River is treated to drinking water standards for the local municipalities. The Region of Waterloo is committed to protecting and conserving our water resources and meeting high quality standards legislated by the Ontario Ministry of Environment.
